I have already read this book in Fourth grade. I know that is very sad but also an amazing book. I think the quote means that people who do not know anything about history and if you do not learn from it you will repeat it. To stop the great depression from repeating itself the bank needs to stop giving out loans and making everyone owe money. I also think people should use their money more wisely instead of using it on just anything that they will almost never use.
