Grandpa says that all boys should have to chop down a tree because it teaches them determination. Describe an experience in which you had to "chop down a tree" and explain how you gained determination and will-power.
The time that I "cut down a tree" was when I had to get on the roof with my Dad when it was raining to cover a leak. It tought me determination and will power by making me work very hard to stop the leak. Once we stopped the leak everybody was proud of me. When people are proud of me I feel so happy.

I don't agree with you because that is bravery not determination. What if you said you had to be determine to go up the slippery roof and fix the leak. But besides that it is a good answer. Good job.
